Short battle report from Dave’s perspective: “This one was a nasty grind in the middle with Nyss and Boomies meaning the middle line didn’t move. Eventually, Butcher got involved personally and started clearing a point. My opponent was very low on time and started making a move to win on the other one. Conquest was sacrificed to contest that for a while. Sadly I lost track of my opponents CPs, so didn’t free up the war dog and run him over to contest. If I had I would most likely have clocked my opponent. Think after this one I’ll start writing down my opponents CPs as well as my own!

Short battle report from Teemu’s perspective: “ Round three starts and my team plays against Denmark Red, and I’m paired against Gil Surepi’s Khador. Both of his lists are filled with infantry so Rahn is a clear choice and Gil chooses Irusk1. As I expected, the attrition game is extremely tight with Chain Blasts flying towards Assassins and feated Mages shooting IFPs and so on. I feel I’m just slightly losing the attrition battle but I see an assassination run with knocking Irusk with Force Hammer and then shooting him with eEiryss and the AFG. Sadly I completely forget Inhospitable Ground for a second and thus fail a charge with Rahn. Turns out you pretty much auto-lose if you fail a charge on Rahn’s assassination run.

    • Argh! This has never happened to me, but now I do as well think that writing down the CPs is a very, very good idea! Especially during a tournament. – Thanks for the short battle report, added it to the post.

  5. The excellent news is that once you get past
the break in period, most of their boots are ultra comfortable.
